TAKE THAT FAT ASS!

Well I'm on a total high right now because this week I lost another 1.6kg which bring my weight loss up to 4.3kg in three weeks! happy? YOU BETCHA BOTTOM DOLLAR! And so many people have noticed, people who didn't know I was dieting (so ya know, it wasn't just them being nice) which is an even bigger boost. GO CARA! GO CARA!

Aaaand before I toddle off to mum's to stay the night (so I don't spend money out, and therefore have more $$$ for Melbourne) I just wanted to post the new DUSK poster _snitchbitch and I made. Very pleased with it we are, and we've gotten a lot of great feedback for it too, which is always lovely:

Hey that's excellent! Are you dieting and exercising or is the weight loss just due to your recent change in lifestyle? It's the nicest feeling, accomplishing something like this. Knowing I can say no to fattening crap, exercise a lot and generally look after myself so I can be healthy and happy :)

Well, I've changed my eating habits, having mainly fresh fruit or a smoothie for breakfast, and just eating sensible for lunch and dinner. i also walk everywhere now instead of catching a lift / bus. I know to shift the bulk of this weight i'll have to get exercising properly again, but one step at a time :)

I reckon this way is the best way. The way I see if, you went hardcore now you'd have to struggle to get this first lot of weight off, whereas by getting rid of some by just increasing movement and restricting bad foods means it'll be easier to get off the rest later. If that make sANY sense :P

Makes perfect sense ;) And it's advice I'll definitely be following.

I do really feel like a better person for it too. Maybe a lot of that is psychological after what was happening to me, but I just feel generally great.

Oh, and thought you might like to know: my cousin John has asked me to join his band as lead guitar player. I didn't think much of it til I found out that it was his daughter's band (she sings and plays rhythm guitar) and they have one or two record companies interested in them ! (will be posting more about it in my own journal when I have more details)
