no sales = no job

Well....I just quit my job. I'll stay til the end of the week though I couldn't be arsed coming back in tomorrow, or especially Friday.

I had a chat to my team leader and it was essentially a case of "resign or you'll be fired" because I simply can't do sales. I wish I could, but what can you do? I'm waiting to hear back about other positions in Telstra with NO sales. I'm told there's even some available where there's no customer contact at all. I rock at customer service but I'm over it, so that would be a nice position indeed.

I'm both relieved and a little upset. In fact I'm shaking like a mofo right now, but I took it calmly and have been given permission to fuck around for as long as I need today. I'd like to just go home but I'll probably stay just because I'm lame like that.

This is definately a good thing though, because it means most of the stuff on my priority list is getting fixed up. My first singing lesson is next monday, I'm going to my first hip hop dance class this thursday and now I'll have a much better job to keep me from being an emotional ball of stress.

I bought the Klaxtons album yesterday and it is really good. It had three free guitar pics included. That rules.

Well, boo to the lack of job for the moment, but yay to all the self-improvement going on in your life - I'm happy that you're out of that place and all the stress included with it.

Yeah, bollovks to feeling sick at work because of dickhead managers forcing us to make almost impossible sales targets. BOLLOCKS I SAY!

Well I want to front a rock band at some point, so I mostly just need to train my voice. If I could get something like Gwen Stefani in her early No Dount days I'd be STOKED!

Oh, by the way, this'll mean I can't come visit and see RHCP in April. I'm really sorry :(
