Friends-locked for now

Just letting you all know that I will be locking all of my entries from the public for the time being since I found out people at my old work found out about my LJ and have all been reading it and passing it on to management which is obviously UNCOOL. So for now everything will be f-locked except my Ruby Velour blog entries which are always open to the public.

Um, that's really super uncool. It's one thing if management found out first, but the fact that others are passing it on is really idiotic.

I had a similar problem whereby someone found something i wrote that was about work and whilst none of my personal or identifying information is listed on LJ, they took it upon themselves to trawl through my MySpace (which did have my workplace listed) and copy and paste the two items into the one place and print and show my boss...my boss was very disappointed in me and I had to fudge my way through an explanation...

what was worse is that he also copied the next post which had nothing to do with the situation at hand (it was actually about a meme) and add it in to the mix making me look really bad.

it wasn't until after both my boss and I left the company that I had to explain to him that and the other evil things this particular staff member did to me and others there...he is a bully and a true narcsisit.

This annoyed me greatly as I liked to update family/friends with stuff without them having an LJ account.

Gah! SO UNCOOL! I've made it a habit to f-lock any entry where I bitch about work though. Not that anyone here knows my LJ, but still...

Dude - that sucks :-( And you say people rather than ... a person? If this is the case, meybe going back to work there isn't such a good thing? But seriously .... what a cunty thing to do. *hates people who try to suck up to management and step on peoples throats to do so*

Did you get an email or something about it? Do you know who did it?

Just remember you're the better person in this situation and you were not in the wrong when you got fired. Chances are something better is waiting for you just around the corner.
