More LJ friends please ^_^

I almost can't believe I am doing this...but I need more LJ friends. I'm one of those people who will never, ever give up on livejournal and so it makes me so sad when I check my friendslist everyday and barely get up to skip=40 entries. It's really sad, guys! I like reading about what people do, and Facebook status' and Twitter just don't cut it! I like knowing someone has spent some time and energy thinking up and writing an LJ entry and then allowing me to read it and even comment on it. It's great!

So, I would really appreciate some LJ friend recommendations! People who you're friends with whose LJ you think I'd enjoy reading on my friendslist. Give me an idea of what they post about/who they are or whatever just so I have a heads up, especially if their journal is friends only.

Ooh! Well, the_vagrant is one of my favourite friends, and I think you'd enjoy her journal (and vice versa). She likes some of the same fandoms as you (e.g. Harry Potter), has a great sense of humour, and is often having adventures. She recently inherited a lot of money and took a trip alone to Ireland (she's based in Chicago mostly). She's just great fun, and a smart, insightful person when it comes to leaving comments as well.

chris_coltrane is another smart, hilarious person (he does stand-up sometimes), and his sense of humour is silly at times and shamelessly dark at others. He's also interested in some alternative livestyle stuff, which might appeal to you. :)

she wrote the memoir "Please Don't Kill The Freshman" (the original at 14 and the longer version a little later). she's not "friends only" but doesn't always add people back (but i think that's only because she has a HUGE amount of people reading her lj after the book came out, lol).

i've been reading her journal for years (even from the OpenDiary days, haha).

Yeah I sometimes forget about updating poor old LJ but I love reading it still. It sucks how Twitter, facebook etc have taken over from online journals. It's a damn shame, I say!

Yeah, I am a slacker. I mainly read my friends list, but never contribute to others! I should really get on that.

I know how you feel. I gave up LiveJournal a while ago simply because nobody on my friends list was really posting any more. Now that I'm back not much has changed. You'd have to be one of my most regular and interesting friends on here. :)

Unfortuantely because of this I don't really have anybody to recommend to you.

But I will be posting more frequently very soon. I've just been a little on the sad side this week and I hate when all my entries turn sooky.
