Bloggy thoughts, Twitter and not-so-amazing shoe rack experiences

I just posted a new entry on rubyvelour.com in case anyone's interested. I'm still trying to work out what to write about there, I find a lot of the blog's I like to read are very fashion-focused which is cool but I'm not really what you'd call a fashionista, and believe it or not but I get really shy and self-conscious every time I go to take a photo of myself in a new outfit. LAME! I'm also trying to work out how to encourage people to READ my blog too! How do you attract people to something that's probably been done a million times before??? All suggestions are very much appreciated.

Meanwhile I am finding myself rather obsessed with Twitter. I can use it at work (in a round-about kid of way through iGoogle) so it helps me pass the time while allowing me to post short sentences about the random shit I am doing at random intervals. In other accidentally-interesting news, I bought the AMAZING Shoe Rack the other day, which I finally got around to setting up yesterday. I filled it with shoes and was a bit wary about how it was leaning (I not only filled it with 30 pairs of shoes, but I had a good 10+ pairs left over!). Anthony thought it looked fine, but check out what happened in the middle of the night:



NOT VERY AMAZING AT ALL MR SHOE RACK, UNLESS YOU MEAN AMAZING AT COLLAPSING WHILE I AM SLEEPING! (God I have so, so many shoes)

nah it was cheap, plus I didn't even buy it (I was given it actually). It'd be fine if I divided it into two sections instead of the one tall one. I could probably do with losing some of my shoes too. SO MANY!

It's actually pink. Bright, amazing, metallic pink! I could marry that bag, for realz. I'm pretty sure someone from Guess stalked me then designed a bag dedicated to me :D

I bought mine from FREEDOM and it was about $30 and I love it heaps! it's metal and hasn't managed to break yet... and I have over 100 pairs of shoes, lol.

Don't get rid of your shoes - that's BLASPHEMY!! The shoe rack I had is 4 rows high, and can be extended or shortened width-ways, which is awesome

I love vans and Chucks so much. Shame I'm always too lazy to wear them and just chuck on boring girly flats all the time :(
