Pre-weekend roundup

Argh I'm not well. I got a cough the day before going to Melbourne last week, but it wasn't much of one and I was fine. But a day ater being back home it got worse and worse and is now just plain horrific. I had to take a day of last week because of it (I figured that by missing the train due to several coughing-til-I-nearly-spewed fits, I wasn't fir for a day in the office). I had a tiny bit off a cold the other day but it's mainly just this fucking cough. I can't sleep because as soon as I lie down, even if propped up with 1000 pillows, I have coughing fit after coughing fit. And when I be coughing I ain't sleeping. I though I was going to die from exhaustion this morning, after being in tears all night because I just can't stop coughing :(

Despite the coughing I had a great weekend...but I'm not going to both writing about it now because that would take away from my OH WOE IS CARA I AM SICK entry, so my actual weekend roundup shall come tomorrow

In good news I just found out they are making a film about the Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle scandal called Life of the Party I could just about EXPLODE with excitement! My love and admiration of him and Buster Keaton know no bounds.

And to conclude this wackiness, have a photo of Anthony and I from today's newspaper. Yay we made it into the social pages! For Big Gay Day, no less!

Dude, I too have that awful coughing bug. I feel perfectly fine except for THE FREAKING NON-STOP COUGH!! I feel your pain and hope with BOTH get better!

IT'S HORRENDOUS! Even now it's getting better but still I am coughing like a 90 year old man (who smokes too much). I got sleep last night though, which was wonderful. And half my work has it, so it's all bellowing coughs all day long. Worst bug ever!

do we have Robitussin in Australia or is that just an American thing? Judd and i picked up a couple of bottles when over there and it is THE BEST stuff for full on coughs. head down to your chemist and see if we have it here. if not ask for the strongest cough suppressant they have.

A girl from work got me this really good stuff for stubborn, dry coughs which has helped a fair bit. I would have gone and gotten something like Robitussen but after Melbs I'm broke this week and have had to suck it up. Though the cough syrup I got last week did bugger all >:(

i totally swear on honey and lime blossom tea (linden blossom tea) but sadly that is only really helping at day time. i agree that you should go and ask in a pharmacy for a good sirup so that you can at least have a good night rest.

I've been sipping lots of tea during the day which has soothed it a bit but yeah., can't be drinking tea during the night, sadly. Thanks for your advice though :)

As long as I don't wear that top out again, I think I might be right *eye dart* Haha if anyone did ask I'd be all "yeah I'm a lesbian, that was my girlfriend in the photo with me!" hehehe :D
