Yesterday was possibly the funniest day of my life. That I can recall anyway. I just laughed all day, it was fantastic. We had a massive night Friday night (BOOMSTAR LOCO played, I went to a rockabilly gig, then we all went clubbing), I woke up feeling pretty awful, took my expensive migraine medicine WHICH DOESN'T WORK! And because it's a nasal spray you get the coke drip down the back of your throat. Gag. So I bought the worlds biggest box of Neurofen Plus which sorted that out. I booked my Hogwarts crest tattoo in (have to wait til the end of October though, sadly) and went to physio. OK so none of that is funny, but I'm getting there. After physio we went back into the Valley as Anthony had an appointment to get his tattoo worked on. While he, Daz and I were waiting around an eveacuation alarm went beserk, which got Daz and I laughing about how funny it would have been if the place blew up. I don't know why, but it was hilarious at the time. Siamese fighting fish were involved.

While Anthony was off getting his tattoo, Daz and I bumped into Chris and Dave and we went searching for a video game arcade. We found a weird Asian place that had some arcade games (called CYBER CITY which made us laugh some more). Then we found the most random game, all in Japanese that was called HYPER BISHY BASHY something or other. One of the mini-games on it had a bride running down the aisle, hubby holding up her dress, and then you chuck a pie into the crowd and everyone applauds. WHAT THE?! Daz and I were in hysterics after a few rounds of that, the games were just so odd, and the Japanese guy kept yelling between each game. GAAAAAAAME OOOOOOVER!

We headed back to the tattoo studio, where Anthony was still getting the tattoo finished, so we went through the books of flash, making witty comments about all of the atrocious flash. The page with all the cutesy animal tattoos was the funniest, plus there was a baby Ned Kelly. Man the jokes were coming thick and fast by then, and I was almost unable to stand up from the laughter. Tattoo flash has always made me laugh, but this was priceless.

Then the final round of hysteria came while me, Dave and Daz went to Barsoma. There was a group of about six people, who I believe were German, who were having a grand old time dancing. I cannot convey how bad their dancing was, it was like they were taking the piss and purposely dancing like middle-aged white men, except they were being completely serious. We were in awe, it was actualyl breathtaking to see such terrible dancing. I wish we had had a video camera to record them, because seriously, funniest shit ever. It was a thing of beauty, I'm telling you.

As I walked Daz back to his car we came up with great t-shirt designs representing our hilarious day, and I wish so badly I had a screen printer because they would have been magical.

OK so it was a "You had to be there" list of things, but I still chuckle about it now. I had to document it so that Daz and I can look back and remember it with total clarity.

Today was pretty good, went out to a few bars and such and had a chilled out day drinking beers. I was going to go out with Lonny and Anthony to the gay night at Family, but I suddenly felt really sad and came home instead. Maybe I'm coming down from yesterdays LOL-tacular day of awesome. or maybe it's because it's work tomorrow. Ah well.

those days that are really only funny when you're actually there, are the best days ever, lol.

I had a day like that 2 years ago with my friend Anna, on December 17th, and made it a holiday. Now we exchange glittery presents and have lots of chocolate every year on that date. It's called Neohippuday.

I want to see this Hyper Bishy Bashy thing because it sounds amazing.

Yeah, it was kinda "You had to be there", but I had to laugh a couple of times, esp. when you tried to explain those japanese games. Seriously, japanese people are like totally crazy!! Who comes up with ideas like that?? HOW??
But I like days like these, when you just can't stop laughing and there's a new reason for a breakdown laughing attack behind every corner, so that in the evening you lie in bed with a terrible pain in your stomach from all the giggling and laughing =))

(I kinda overused the word "like" in this comment, I admit =))
