rockfotzeHello! I'm sorry I have been online so infrequently, but we now have internet at the flat (I'll be buying a wireless router this week so that I can actually use my laptop to get online instead of Anthony's crappy PC) this will hopefully change!
So, what's been going on? Well I moved the weekend before last, which was also the same weekend as Greazefest. Needless to say there was a lot of exhaustion and sadness at having no monies, thanks to paying bond, for wonderful 50s goodies. I did buy the hottest pink and leoprad print bra and undies though, but that was a necessity more than anything :D I took heaps of photos but I'll have to post them another time. I'm happy to say my first ever Greazefest was great. I'm glad I didn't go to Splendour instead!
So I'm living in the Valley now, smack bang in the middle of it all so it's a 5 minute walk TOPS to just about anywhere interesting in the Valley! Exciting stuff. It's just Anthony and I, though it's such a big flat we'd be able to have someone live with us for a while without being too much trouble. Though it's pretty rad having so much freedom, so we probs won't consider that anytime soon. All is good so far!
This weekend just gone was hella busy, I helped Verity as makeup assistant for a shoot for a music video, which was really cool. I haven't ben on set in such a long time, and most of them were shitty student ones anyway. It was a screamo band but I won't hold that against the band who were (mostly) really nice. I can't wait to see the finished product! Saturday night I went to Anthony's gig wih Boomstar Loco (his new group) and got thoroughly wasted. I don't know how it happened, which is actually kind of scary now I think about it. Sunday I had a Holly & Phoenix meetup and then had dinner with the SG crew.
Work is good, I wan tto learn a lot more but they're pacing it out. Oh well, it'll be great once I know what I'm doing! Plus they feed us allllll the time. And it's usually healhy, so the inevitable weight gain mightn't be too severe!
Yep, life's pretty rad right now! And now I'm off to see Transormers again with mum :D :D :D
