Update from Salzburg

Just a quick post to say I've been having a ball on my European trip. I spent my Birthday on the 23rd in Rome, where I had a beautiful dinner by the Pantheon. We spent Christmas in Venice and finally took a ride in a gondola. Today we're in Salzberg where we almost died from the cold! The highlight of the trip so far is one of the few locations on this tour where I haven't been before - Lauterbrunnen in the Swiss Alps. We took a train up the highest mountain in Europe (Jungfrau mountain) where we had a look around and bought souvenirs. Then we hired sledges and sledded most of the way down. It was the most fun I have probably ever had in my life, I haven't laughed so much in my life!

Tomorrow we're off to the Rhine Valley in Germany before going to Amsterdam which is where the trip ends. From there we head to Edinburgh for Hogmanay and then back to London where I finally get my zombie sleeve finished and visit my favourite spots around London :)

I hve some other exciting news which came about on this trip...but I will leave that til later on when all is confirmed and I have much more time.
