Transformers, Harry Potter and the Simpsons (aka a new movie post)
So...Transformers movie. Yep, pretty much the best film ever. Sure I wasn't into them back in the day (I was pretty darn young come to think of it) as I was totally into My Little Pony at the time...but damn this was very probably the most fantastic film I've seen in a long time, if not EVER. My favourite film genre is ACTION (particularly of the blockbuster variety) and combined with such excellent comedy... wow, no words! If you're not thinking of seeing it for whatever reason, don't kid yourself: SEE IT RIGHT NOW!
This is Anthony's review of the film after we saw it Thursday night. Transformers was his most favourite thing as a kid, so this was a huge deal to him. Kind of like the whole Harry Potter thing is to me!
Speaking of harry Potter, I finally saw the full trailer (on the big screen, that is) and I'm actually really excited! I wasn't impressed with the actual book, but hopefully the film will scrub up nicely.
And lastly, I'm both excited and very apprehensive about the Simpsons movie. This is either going to suck ass or rule so hard my head explodes. Of course the Spiderpig scene will probably make it worth it, I'm still really worried about what this movie will be like. God, please don't ruin this for me!
