Boomstar and Adicts

I am brimming with pride right now! First and foremost Anthony's group BOOMSTAR LOCO have a gig at this years Valley Fiesta which is a pretty big thing (this is their artist profile). They're playing Friday at 6:30pm (was meant to be 7:30pm but some douchebag managed to get their time slots swapped so they got lumped with the less-than-desirable time). To co-incide they had a little "interview" in this weeks Scene magazine, which unfortunately doesn't appear on the website, feature a photo I took (this photo to be exact, though minus the guy on the left as he quit the group). I was pretty darn stoked about that!

And finally BREAKS & ENTER came 4th in Queenslands Top 5 Club Nights on inthemix50 competition, which is a really big deal in the Australian dance music scene. I am proud because I helped out so much and was there from their very first night, and even though Anthony left the group and only plays with them on occassion, I'm really proud of them all. That's an incredible feat. They even beat Saturday's @ The Met, which everyone assumed would be #1.

This probably means nothing to 99% of the people reading this, but rest assured I am brimming (BRIMMING) with pride at this excellent news.

EDIT: Hahaha, how cute. Anthony is having a "dress-rehearsal" right now. Ahhh it's nice to live with someone who fusses as much about their appearance as I do :)
