Just a weekly round up from Mystery Girl!
Saturday, 24 February 2007 11:46I've been far too busy this week. I've already decided I'm going to have a really lazy week next week, where I do as little as possible. Well, anything interesting anyway. And, you know, until next weekend. I'm so infrequently at home and as someone who likes to chill at home, on my own or with my mum, it's kind of exhausting being out all the time.
Work is alright, I'm actually making some sales, all by chance mostly, I'm not really making any more of an effort. Maybe because our (acting) team leader told us those rumours of anyone not making good sales getting the boot are not true. But he also told me the center we're in is progressively getting worse, totally obsessed with sales and full of douchebags, and he's told me about a nice little back-of-house job going at Telstra in the City which I know I'd love a lot more. So, we'll see how that goes.
ADICTS have a huge show on next weekend, they've managed to get a weekly spot at GPO which is a very popular club in the Valley. I personally hate it and all the fake fucks who go there, but it's BIG news for the boys and so I'll grin and bare it. We've been putting up posters for it all over the place, so here's hoping it's a huge success.
Went out on Thursday night and got completely wasted. Totally NOT an awesome idea with work at 8:30 the next morning but it was good. It was "Dirty House" night at the Monastary which is a type of music I can really enjoy as it's really dark and uses a lot of rock songs. There is something so awesome abiut hearing The Automatic's "Monster" playing in a club, even if it was mixed into a house track.
So this weekend is going to be good. I had a night off last night, but tonight I am going to see Wiseacre's very last show with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
gumbuoy, which is sad but also exciting. Afterwards I'll be heading over to see Boy George play at The Met, even though I hear he's a pretty lousy DJ, IT'S BOY GEORGE, MAN!!! And on Sunday I think we're going to Sexpo, just because I've never been to one before.
OK guys, I'm off for a bikini wax (I really need to get laser removal one of theses days) and then off to put up more posters at Uni's. Wow, my life is the definition of excitement!
