30 Days of Music – Day 2 – Your Least Favourite Song

I had a bit of trouble with this one until this song popped into my head:

Day 2 - Your least favourite Song = Big Yellow taxi by Counting Crows

OH MY GOD. I hate this band and this AWFUL song so much. I’d rather listen to a million bad pop songs until my ears bleed and my brain explodes before I’ll listen to this song in full. Even the name of it enrages me. Big yellow taxi? Fuck off. The lead singer creeps me out with his douchey dreadlocks and weird, dopey eyes. Oh god, I’m getting so angry about it all, I have to stop!

I prefer the original (also called "Big Yellow Taxi") by Joni Mithcell. I don't mind this version, though. Don't hate it, don't love it.

but I reitterate your point, prefer the original, however it's not the best nor worst song ever.

I like the original (for some reason I didn't know it shared the same title) as well as janet Jackson's version. This one just shits me to tears. Probably because I loathe and detest this sort of soft rock and douchey dreadlocked singers ;)

OK so I braved a bit more of the Counting Crows version and now I KNOW why I hate it so much (apart from the reasons already mentioned), the OOH BOP BOP BOP bit is just like knives in my ears. And I suddenly just remembered their song "Accidentally in Love" with the STUPID rabbit in the clip which makes me hate them all the more. UGH D:
