RnB music blog post + work rant + shopping for free!
New blog post about RnB music. I love RnB music. I also love hip hop and rap. Always have and always will. It shits me when people say they hate the music when they really don't. The RnB and hp hop scene is pretty shit the world over, but the music itself is great. There's the popular stuff (which is what I assume everyone hates so much) which is good, but then there's the more "underground" and unusual stuff which is simply amazing. I got introduced to the Elekrons recently and saw them live...they were amazing and are mostly RnB (with a few other genres thrown in for good measure). All I say is, don't disregard Urban music just because you hate Rihanna or Beyonce, because there's a lot more to it and you're just falling into the trap of hating RnB because everyone else seems to.
So anyway, this week has been SHIT TO THE POWER OF FUCKED! I don't know why it's been so busy, but all I know is, I've thrown more tantrums at work the last few days than what I've thrown all year. This was how I was feeling this afternoon which gives you a very clear understanding of how crap it's been. I can't even get into it without starting another rant, so just understand it's been rubbish and I can't wait for the long weekend (we may have missed out on a day off for ANZAC day but there's always Labour day, baby).
I bought a gorgeous new dress and a hot pair of shoes today. Both for $50 a pop and both FREE! I got a $250 voucher from work for Myer as an incentive for getting my friend Erin a job there. Nothing in the world beats spending without actually spending. Buyers remorse? Forget about it! The only hard part is narrowing down what you want so you don't go over the spend limit! I will post pics after I wear them both on the weekend!
